A behind-the-scenes video shows Kim posing in a series of edgy outfits for Hia magazine.
She is initially seen wrapped in a traditional style headscarf before gradually unrobing to reveal the body-baring design.
The video then shows her being styled in several other outfits including a demure '60s-style shift dress, a black pencil dress with silk cloak and an extravagant veiled headdress befitting of a middle-eastern princess.
Kim, 32, is well known for her exotic looks - due to being of Armenian-American descent.
Talking about the shoot she wrote on her Twitter page she wrote: "Hia is the leading luxury lifestyle magazine for Arab woman and I’m honored to be on the cover.
"This shoot was so different from any I have done before and I’m so pleased with how the cover turned out.
