The United boss is seething at being criticised by Toon chief Alan Pardew over the Boxing Day ref bust-up at Old Trafford.
And he roared: “The problem for me and Manchester United is the profile of the club is huge. I’m the manager of the biggest club in the world.
"I’m not like Newcastle — a wee club in the North East. Alan Pardew is the worst at haranguing referees.
SIR Alex Ferguson hits out at Alan Pardew and refers to Newcastle United as a "wee club"
"He was at it for the whole game on Wednesday. He shoves the referee and laughs about it and he has the cheek to criticise me.
“It is unbelievable. He forgets the help I gave him, by the way.
“The Press have addressed every possible angle, the only one they have not asked is Barack Obama — he is too busy.”
The attack came 48 hours after United’s 4-3 win over Newcastle, during which Fergie exploded at officials over the visitors’ second goal.
He escaped punishment because ref Mike Dean did not mention the incident in his report.
Pardew was given a touchline ban this season for shoving the fourth official in Newcastle’s 2-1 win over Spurs.
A senior Toon source hit back, saying: “We are very proud of our ‘wee club in the North East’ — 50,000 supporters at every home game.”
Newcastle goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman tweeted: “Funny! After the game Mr Ferguson offered us drink and pie! Never said a word to our faces! As for Wee Club! Come to city and meet REAL FANS!”

Popular fans site NUFC.co.uk tweeted: “All respect lost for Fergie. He has really embarrassed himself.”
And Toon fan Mike Gold raged: “It’s laughable to hear Fergie call us a wee club.
“Wonder if he thought that when we beat them 3-0 last season?”
